SingTel and Universal Music bring Lady Gaga back to Singapore

Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) and Universal Music haveannounced that the superstar, Lady Gaga, will be performing an exclusive showcase in Singapore on 7 July 2011 for more than 2000 SingTel customers.

Lady Gaga has been SingTel AMPed’s most downloaded artiste since launch.AMPed offers unlimited free downloads of more thantwo million tracks and is available to SingTel 3G Flexi and iFlexi plan subscribers.Customers can browse and download songs to their hearts’ content, on their mobile devices and PCs, without incurring data charges.

Lady Gaga have garnerednumerous achievements including five Grammy Awards amongst twelve nominations, two Guinness World Records and the estimated sale of 15 million albums and 51 million singles worldwide. She has been included in Times annual ‘The 2010 Time 100’ list of the most influential people in the world as well as Forbes list of the ‘The Worlds Most Powerful Celebrities’ in the world. Her recent release of the highly anticipated follow-up album "Born This Way" has sold over the 1.11 million mark during its first week of sales and has been number one on local CD retail stores and digital music album charts since its release. The album has also achieved sales exceeding platinum status.
